Technical rigor and strategic vision place ESGpec among those approved in the Compete Minas program by FAPEMIG.

ESGpec was selected for the Compete Minas program , one of the most important initiatives to promote innovation in the state, conducted by FAPEMIG – the Minas Gerais State Research Support Foundation, an institution linked to the Government of Minas Gerais.

In this edition, the call for proposals received 701 submissions from companies across the state, of which only 92 were approved , highlighting the high level of competitiveness and technical rigor of the selection process. The program mobilizes R$ 50 million in non-refundable resources allocated to the development of innovation projects in Minas Gerais.

The approval positions ESGpec among the projects with the greatest technological merit and strategic relevance evaluated in the state.

  • The potential impact on the agricultural sector

  • The team's ability to execute.

  • Adherence to the state's strategic priorities

The evaluation process involves an analysis of technical and scientific merit, economic viability, degree of innovation, and potential for value creation for Minas Gerais.

Innovation to increase the competitiveness of agriculture.

The approved project focuses on developing a new technological phase aimed at data integration in the dairy sector, with the goal of increasing operational efficiency and environmental competitiveness of farms. ESGpec's proposal aims to raise the level of digital maturity in the field, reduce operational barriers, and strengthen the sector's capacity to respond to the growing demands for sustainability and traceability. This is a movement aligned with the global climate transition agenda and the need to generate added value for Minas Gerais' production chains.

Minas Gerais as a hub for innovation in agriculture.

The approval reinforces Minas Gerais' role as one of the main environments for stimulating innovation applied to agribusiness in Brazil. Compete Minas promotes companies that develop technological solutions with significant risk and impact, strengthening the competitiveness of the state's strategic productive sectors.

For ESGpec, the support represents a new step forward in technological maturity, expanding its capacity to develop high value-added digital solutions for the sustainability and efficiency of livestock farming.

“Being among the select group of companies chosen is an important recognition of the technical robustness of our project and the potential impact it can generate for Minas Gerais' agriculture. The support from Compete Minas accelerates our ability to innovate responsibly and competitively,” says Heloise Duarte, project coordinator and co-founder of ESGpec.
