Alvoar's project, developed with ESGpec technology, is a finalist for the Dairy Vision Awards 2026.
A governance and animal welfare initiative, implemented in over 500 dairy farms, is among the three finalists in the ESG & Sustainability category.
ESGpec celebrates the selection of the project “Animal Welfare Governance on a National Scale”, developed in partnership with Alvoar Lácteos, among the three finalists in the ESG & Sustainability category of the Dairy Vision Awards 2026. The award, promoted by MilkPoint Ventures, recognizes initiatives that contribute to innovation, efficiency and sustainable development of the Brazilian dairy industry.
The recognition highlights a collaborative effort that led to the structured assessment of animal welfare at over 500 dairy farms supplying Alvoar , using ESGpec technology to organize information, generate indicators, and support responsible supply chain management.
More than just broadening the scope of assessments, the project demonstrates how the combination of business commitment, technical expertise, and technology can transform data collected on properties into useful information to guide decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
Technology and data at the service of animal welfare.
The initiative was structured to allow Alvoar to advance its knowledge of animal welfare conditions within its supplier network, with standardized assessments and information organized for large-scale analysis.
The ESGpec platform played a key role in the project's execution , providing the necessary digital resources to record assessments, consolidate results, and produce indicators capable of supporting property monitoring and supply chain management.
This approach allows us to go beyond isolated assessments. By gathering information from hundreds of farms, it becomes possible to build a more comprehensive view of the observed conditions, identify areas of concern, and guide improvement actions based on evidence.
For ESGpec, this is one of the main contributions of technology to the sustainability of livestock farming: making the evaluation of environmental, social, and animal welfare indicators viable, consistent, and scalable , bringing technical knowledge closer to the decisions made by companies and producers.

A partnership that transforms commitment into action.
Reaching the finals represents a significant achievement for Alvoar, which invested in structuring a nationwide animal welfare initiative, and for ESGpec, which contributed the technology and technical expertise necessary for its implementation.
The project highlights the potential for collaboration between dairy industries and technology companies specializing in sustainability. While the industry mobilizes its supply chain and incorporates the results into its management strategy, technology enables the standardization of processes, expands evaluation capacity, and transforms information into comparable indicators.
ESGpec congratulates Alvoar Lácteos on this achievement and thanks them for the trust placed in the partnership. This recognition also values the work of the teams involved and the participation of the rural producers, which were fundamental in making an initiative of this magnitude possible.
ESG & Sustainability: recognition of responsible supply chain management.
The Dairy Vision Awards 2026 is a groundbreaking award created by MilkPoint Ventures to recognize outstanding products, strategies, and projects in the Brazilian dairy industry.
The selection of the finalists was conducted by a technical jury made up of eight experts, who together have more than 200 years of accumulated experience in the sector.
In the ESG & Sustainability category , initiatives related to positive social impact, emissions reduction, resource efficiency, and governance practices that strengthen supply chain management are recognized.
Alvoar's project, developed in partnership with ESGpec, is competing with two other initiatives in the ESG & Sustainability category. Its presence among the finalists highlights the importance of incorporating animal welfare into sustainability management in the dairy chain, through structured processes, indicators, and technological solutions capable of enabling large-scale assessments.
