Heloise Duarte, co-founder of ESGpec, is a finalist for the Insper Women in Action Award 2026 in the Technological Innovation category.

São Paulo, April 2026 — Heloise Duarte, co-founder of ESGpec, was recognized as a finalist in the Technological Innovation category of the 2026 Women in Action Award, an Insper initiative that recognizes women leaders of innovative and high-impact projects.

The second edition of the award significantly expanded its reach, bringing together 160 candidates from 21 states , evaluated by a panel of 89 experts . Being among the finalists represents significant recognition in the national ecosystem of innovation and female leadership.


The Technological Innovation category highlighted projects that use technology in an innovative way to solve problems and promote significant advances in their fields.


The project presented by Heloise, ESGpec – a technological platform for measuring and managing ESG in dairy farming – addresses one of the main challenges of the global climate agenda: the need to structure reliable data for reducing emissions and the sustainable transformation of food production.

The solution, developed by ESGpec, integrates climate science, tropicalized algorithms, and artificial intelligence to transform field data into strategic intelligence for producers, industry, and the market.


Currently, the platform supports more than 1,000 producers and technicians in 11 states , monitoring approximately 800 million liters of milk per year , focusing on reducing methane emissions, improving ESG indicators, and increasing transparency in the production chain.


In addition to technology, ESGpec also develops initiatives such as Regenerative Awakening , which expands free access to tools for producers, and Synergy , aimed at educational and research institutions.


During the ceremony, Heloise highlighted the role of technology in the climate transition of agriculture:

"Developing climate technology for agriculture requires resilience, because innovation is only innovation when it works in practice."

The awards ceremony also brought together other outstanding finalists in the category, including Ana Helena Dias Pereira dos Santos Ulbbrich, Fabiola Bio, Mariana de Araújo Silva, and Stephani Caser Ruschi. The winner of the category was Ana Helena, with a project focused on the safety of prescriptions in the Brazilian public health system (SUS).

In addition to recognition, the event provided relevant connections with the innovation ecosystem and leadership at Insper.
