Co-founder of ESGpec is a finalist for the Sebrae Women in Business Award 2025

On August 29th, the Sebrae Mulher de Negócios 2025 Award ceremony will be held in Belo Horizonte , one of the most important recognitions of female entrepreneurship in the state. Among the finalists in the Science and Technology category is Heloise Duarte , co-founder of ESGpec.

"Being a finalist for this award is an important milestone" , says Heloise. "This recognition celebrates not only the work led by ESGpec, but also the dedication to creating technological solutions that make livestock farming more sustainable, innovative, and connected to the demands of our time."

ESGpec, founded by Heloise and other partners, develops digital tools that allow for the measurement and improvement of ESG indicators in dairy farming. Its solutions, PEC Calc, PEC Scores, and PEC Map, have already been implemented on hundreds of farms in several Brazilian states, democratizing access to technical diagnostics and personalized action plans.

In addition to her technical and entrepreneurial work, Heloise is recognized for her career spanning over 25 years in the sector , for creating the Brazilian Milk Ideagri Index (the first benchmarking for dairy farming in the country) and for leading projects that combine science, technology and sustainability .

Created by Sebrae, the Award recognizes inspiring stories of female entrepreneurs, highlighting initiatives that promote economic, social, and environmental impact. In this stage, entrepreneurs from different regions and sectors of Minas Gerais participated in a rigorous selection process, being evaluated on criteria such as management, innovation, results, and social impact.
