Participate in the Sustainability and Carbon Footprint Project in Dairy Farming SEBRAE Educampo by ESGpec
An initiative to assess the sustainability of dairy farms using real data and digital tools.
Educampo SEBRAE/MG Technicians: nominate 3 farms and be part of building a new future for livestock farming!
Participation is voluntary and the deadline for joining is August 25th.
What is the project?
The Sustainability and Carbon Footprint Project in Dairy Farming SEBRAE Educampo by ESGpec is a partnership between ESGpec and Educampo SEBRAE/MG that offers digital tools for measuring carbon footprint, animal welfare (BEA Score) and sustainability (ESG Farm Score) on dairy farms assisted by Educampo technicians .
Based on data already existing in the Educampo system and additional information obtained by technicians, it will be possible to generate ESG assessments, with technical support from the ESGpec team throughout the process.
How does it work?
Step 1
Voluntary registration of interested technicians , indicating 3 farms each.
Step 2
Online collective alignment (choose one of the 3 dates when registering).
Step 3
Individual analysis with ESGpec , with delivery of a personalized spreadsheet to each technician for completion and validation and instructions for filling out the BEA Score and ESG Farm Score by the technician, directly in the PEC Scores App.
Step 4
Validation of data in the field, filling in the scores in the App , and sending the spreadsheets with added and adjusted information to ESGpec.
The entire process is voluntary and includes support via WhatsApp .

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
About registration and participation
Do I need to fill in all the farm data now?
No. You will receive a report for validation after the individual consultation. On the form, you will only need to indicate the three farms that will participate in the project.
Can I indicate any farm served?
Yes! The project is open to all farm profiles served by Educampo. The goal is to understand the different realities of dairy production and expand the impact of sustainability in the sector.
If I fill out the interest form, does that mean I'm already participating in the project?
Not yet. Since the number of spaces is limited, Educampo SEBRAE/MG reserves the right to select participants based on the order in which they are registered.
Can I change any of the farms indicated after registration?
In principle, no. Farm selection must be made carefully at the time of registration. Exchanges will only be considered in exceptional cases.
How many farms can I refer?
Three farms per technician.
Can I register on behalf of another coach?
No. Registration must be completed by the responsible technician, as the information provided will be used throughout the project and linked to your personal login.
About mandatory steps
If I don't participate in the collective training, will I be disqualified?
Yes. Participation in one of the three collective alignment sessions is mandatory to join the project. Without this step, continuity will not be possible.
Do I need to participate in all three online group meetings?
No, you only need to participate in one group training session. We offer three dates so you can choose the one that best suits you.
What if I don't schedule or show up for my individual counseling session?
In this case, you will unfortunately be disqualified. This step is essential for analyzing the farm's data and moving on to the next phases of the project.
What happens if I don't submit the supplementary data and scores on time?
Failure to submit within the deadline will jeopardize the progress of the analysis and the completion of the process. Technicians who fail to complete this step will also be disqualified.
About tools and support
What is PEC Calc?
This is ESGpec's digital tool used to calculate the carbon footprint of milk production. Using farm data, it estimates emissions per liter of milk and generates reports ready for analysis and decision-making.
Will I receive guidance on how to fill out the scores?
Yes! During the group session, you'll receive instructions and can clarify any questions you may have during the individual session. Furthermore, the PEC Scores app was developed to facilitate completion with a simple and intuitive interface.
What happens if there is an error or doubt when filling out the scores or spreadsheets?
During the individual and group support sessions, the ESGpec team will be available to answer questions and guide you through any corrections. You won't be alone in this process. If necessary, you can schedule a second individual session.
Will it be necessary to enter data directly into the calculator?
No. The data will be imported from individual spreadsheets customized by each technician. After importing, you'll be able to view the complete calculation within PEC Calc, with complete transparency.
Do I need to understand carbon footprint to participate?
No! The ESGpec team handles all the technical aspects of the calculation. You just need to help validate and supplement the farm data—and you'll be guided through each step of the process.
What is the BEA Score and ESG Farm Score?
These are digital tools from ESGpec for assessing animal welfare (AW) and sustainable practices (ESG) on farms. Technicians will fill them out using the PEC Scores app and are part of the comprehensive assessment.
Will support be available throughout the project?
Yes! Technicians will receive support via individual messages and also through the project's official WhatsApp group, from project alignment to final submissions.
About sending data and results
After I validate and complete the data in the base spreadsheet for calculating the carbon footprint, what should I do?
You can email the completed spreadsheet to contato@esgpec.com.br within the established deadline. If necessary, you can also request a second individual meeting for support at this stage.
How will farm data be used?
All data will be used in an aggregated and de-identified manner in the project's general reports. No producer will be exposed individually.
Can I use the project results in my own presentations or reports?
Yes, as long as confidentiality and responsible data use are respected. Your farm's reports will be available for your technical use.
If I participate in all steps and submit the data, will it automatically be used in the analyses?
Not necessarily. The ESGpec technical team may discard information that presents serious inconsistencies. If this occurs, the technician will be notified at the end of the process.
Who will have access to the consolidated project results?
The overall results will be managed by Educampo and may be used in improvement actions, training and communication strategies, always respecting the confidentiality of individual data.
Will technicians have access to the results of the indicated farms?
Yes. Each technician will have a unique login and password to access the complete results for the three designated farms directly on the PEC Calc platform.
Will the analyses generate some type of report or certification?
This is not a formal certification process, but the data and reports generated can support future qualification initiatives and serve as a technical basis for sustainable actions on the property.
Recognition and dissemination
Will the producers receive some kind of recognition?
We're exploring the possibility of awarding or recognizing the project's highlights. If this happens, identification will only be made with the producer's express authorization.
Can I share information about the project with the producers?
Yes, feel free! You can even show them this page.
Is it possible that more farms and more technicians will be included in the future?
There are future opportunities for expansion based on the results of this pilot project.
